Spring break Make-up Must Haves.
Spring break is coming up and like everyone else I’m heading to the beach! (If yours already passed then you can definitely bookmark this and come back in the summer or wear them now because they're great products on and off the beach!) Whether you want to have a photoshoot on the beach, or simply just wear makeup I have you covered!
Down below I've rounded up a few of my go to beauty beach essentials! I chose most products from Tarte because I love the natural look they give. All of these are also either waterproof or long wear and actually work! They're always the first products I pack and I hope they work for you too! If you have other recommendations, please share!!
Also, most importantly DO NOT forget to apply sunscreen!
Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer - This primer is amazing! It's literally silk in a little jar and it's SPF 15. It is pricey but worth every penny.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation - Although, this foundation isn't "waterproof", it does give you a 12 hour full coverage. I say it in quotations because I've been swimming with it and had no problems with it rubbing off. It looks completely fine after. I love how it gives you an airbrush effect and looks completely cake-free. It's also SPF 15 and Vegan.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer - I love this bronzer because I'm very light and always have trouble finding a bronzer that suits me and doesn't look too dark. This one works great and gives me the perfect natural glow. I also apply this as eye shadow on my creases to add definition. (They also have a darker one now!) Also VEGAN!!
Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes Mascara- Okay, first off how cute is this name? Instead of lashes its splashes. Like what? This one in particular has its pros and cons. The only thing I don't like is that the formula is sticky and watery so you have to be careful when applying it or else you can make a MESS. Fortunately, I can look past that because it makes your lashes look great and it's the only mascara that hasn't smudged on me while swimming.
(Better Than Sex by Too Faced is also really good and gives you so much volume without the mess)
Tarte Cheek Stain- For a blush I would go with a stain because it's long lasting and will keep your whole natural glowy look going. You can also apply it directly from the tube, which makes it super easy to carry and take everywhere.
Benefit Watt's UP!- Go to highlighter! It's a cream stick and will make you look extra hydrated and glowy. I apply this to my brow bones, cheek bones, and eyelids.
Marc Jacobs Waterproof Eyeliner - One of my favorites because it goes on smoothly, doesn't smudge, and is waterproof! The only downside would be that it's not a matte black, it's a bit more shiny. Definitely worth the price.
